The Warby Parker Holiday Spectacle Bazaar
Before this online wunderkind brand opened its first brick and mortar, Warby Parker created a month-long pop-up in the heart of SoHo celebrating the holiday season. Taking over an abandoned industrial metal shop, the brand created an eccletically festive space including two large yurts as a focal point of the design. The first was transformed into a WP showroom and the second into a transitional retail space for partner brands, such as Best Made, to create a holiday shop. Guests could purchase christmas trees from an authentic NY street vendor, finish their holiday shopping, have an eye exam and purchase perscription glasses all in this one-stop-shop.

The month was filled with daytime events, such as holiday card letter pressing sessions, and festive evening parties with all the holiday dressings and even a paint by number winter-themed photo booth. Live DJs performed on the mezzanine level surrounded by a tissue paper tassel ceiling installation. Following the holidays, the venue stayed open to sponsor a re-gifting event for charity with Housing Works, where anyone could drop off those thanks-but-no-thanks gifts to be donated to those in need.
