New Balance Product Launch
To debut New Balance’s latest shoe, RevLite, the brand took over a retro gymnasium for an academic and scientific focused press preview. The hero shoe, RevLite, was the visual focus featuring a single shoe levitating on a pedestal to illustrate the lightness of the product. Flanking the pedestal was a pile of cement blocks and a live sumo wrestler. The installation was designed to showcase the perceived weight you feel over time when one runs with competitor’s shoes compared to the NB RevLite product, which actually maintains that just-started-running lightness feeling.
Other product line vignettes, such as Minimus, were designed in classroom style themes to showcase the shoe’s materials and technologies. Catering took on a science theme, using magnifying glasses to show food labels.
