essie 30th Anniversary
When the 30th anniversary arrived for the iconic nail polish brand essie, the brand's founder Essie Weingarten decided to celebrate with an intimate dinner inviting 30 of her closest friends. The Mondrian Soho rooftop was transformed into an elegant all white and ballet slippers pink dining experience.
As a celebration gift for each guest, Essie curated a special collection of her 30 most favorite nail colors created over the brand's history. These colors became the crux of the design aesthetic for the dinner. Starting with the invitation, essie bottles were hand drawn and color matched perfectly with the actual nail color. A custom box was designed to house the polishes, along with a keepsake book sharing the creation stories for each of the 30 nail colors. Hotel drops were provided in each guest's suite with a custom map and treats from 30 of Essie's favorite New York City locations.
